ICDs are the Interface Control Documents from the AFDX Systems. We can convert the ICDs into a better structered and easy readable XML file.
Software Development for the AFDX Bus
Since 2010 we have built up knowledge in the field of software development for the aviation sector. Today we have highly specialized knowledge regarding the AFDX bus system and the evaluation and display of transmitted AFDX data. Encrypted data (eg, BITE , SID, SNMP) are displayed in plain text and are thus understood without special knowledge. Our top priority is a user-friendly programming. Design / Redesign of Systems
On behalf of our customers we specify complex systems and demonstrate their functionality by simulation or on the basis of demonstrators. We redesign existing systems and adapt them to current state of the art technology. This applies to the existing software, hardware, interfaces and available communication paths.
Adjustments of the AFDX standard are possible to support other network topologies that can be implemented with less effort. Thus, for example, designs omitting redundant star network topology and AFDX switch traffic filtering are completely feasible. Despite this reduction of complexity and expenses in network infrastructure safety relevant redundancy can be sustained!
This makes sense in smaller airplanes or helicopters because here weight and cost savings are very noticeable.
